Pipes Point - Project Status Phase One 1. Locate & Mark Suitable Platform Location (Min. Depth 22', Max Depth 35') Completed. 2. Plan Navigation Aids to Platform. (Get GPS Coordinates) Completed. 3. Install TSMD (Tank Scooter Management Device) at Pipes Point. Completed 3. Phase One Surface Site Survey - This will be a surface site survey that will include natural, artificial, and geographical information. Completed. 4. Clear brush, remove rocks, and install fire ring. Completed. 5. Online Maps. (Completed) 6. Install LSD's (Line Management Device) on line running to pipes. Completed Phase Two 1. Put together list of suggestions for Jackson County improvements. (Page Three) 2. Attempt to locate sump house. (Attempt again in spring due to deco obligations) 3. Install new platform. (Installation time is scheduled for early January. We need to have a videographer present for this process.) (Completed February 17-18 - 2007) 4. Install line arrows for ease of navigation. (JP had some extra line arrows) 5. Get topographical survey scanned and on-line. (JP is working on this part of the project.) 6. Create interactive map with overlays of dive areas and points of interest. (Waiting for Map from JP.) 7. Purchase and install underwater dive attraction. (Completed) Phase Three 1. Level dive platform. (Completed and weighting removed) 2. Compile data, maps and other information for submission to diving publication.
